Experience
oh, where do i start.
so i started using ebay the 11th. i didnt ACTUALLY plan to bid on anything at first, in fact i didnt even want to do the assignment because i didnt feel like "wasting" money on something that in the end i might not need, simply for an assignment. later i forced myself to log onto ebay and check it out, see if i liked anything. i had in mind an IDEA of what i would plan to get if i were to do the assignment, and that was solely clothing. a few seconds later i saw several pieces of clothing that i fell in love with and checked them out, an as i did that i was still deliberating if i should buy them or not. i came to the conclusion, or excuse persay, that well hmm its an assignment right ? so i HAVE to get it done. so i decided to, YES fulfill my need and bid on an item. then i bid on two more. then i bid on 3 more. then i bid on four more. that night i won something, but not the item i ORIGIANLLY planned on getting, item A. what happened with item A: i watched it the whole night. at one point i was in the lead, then i was outbid, i was in the lead, etc. when it came down to the wire, 25sec i was still being outbid and tried in the last 2sec to bid higher, but i couldnt and lost damn item A. i got really really frustrated and i guess that led me to bid on other things; having the satisfaction of winning other items and not A. in the process of my addiction that lasted about 2wks, i bought about 5 items. i realized a couple days ago. as i was watching an item on its last day, that i REALLY did not need to spend money i need for other things, on unnecessary things.
Analysis
capitalism comes to play its role in the sense that some people will be willing to pay however much necessary to get what they want, and what that means for the seller/company is more profit. ebay = addiction = more $ for seller (less for consumer).

Walmart Trampling Analysis
What does the walmart article say about the AWOL?
Whenever the Price decreases, demand goes up and because of such sale, people become savages and hunger to get as much of anything and everything they can. What it says about the american way of life is that we are to focused on $$ and $$ and more $$. We’ve become such an advanced, materialistic nation in such a short time. We don’t have our priorities straight. People are prioritizing mere stuff over life. Money you can get back, but a life you cannot. We spend more $$ on unnecessary things than what is REALLY important. On a fundamental level, economically, the american way of life is all about the conquest and not enjoying the ride ‘till the end, and people might like not enjoying it but overall it makes life meaningless.
